My life has a crafter has evolved a lot over the past five years.  I started out with the painted onesies and children's clothing.  Now I am basically addicted to quilting! I have several quilts in progress at all times.  I'm trying to get some work teaching quilt classes and am thrilled to be working as a contract employee for "A Needle Runs Through It" Enjoy looking through my site which has become a portfolio and record of all my work!

My Most Recent Work

"Randolph is Good"

This was so much fun.  I made it for my son's school, Randolph Elementary,  who's mascot is a roadrunner.  I hope they make some money at the silent auction!

Seminole Strip Sampler

This was made as the 2008 block of the month project with my quilt guild.  Each month a member, Liana, helped us with one strip.  Having finished the strips last year, it felt good to finally finish the quilt top!

Quilting Classes

I'm excited to be able to say I am a quilt teacher now!
I've taught a couple of classes at Quilting Adventures of Richmond, VA.  Here are classes I have coming up!

Miniatures in Minutes

These are so much FUN!!!  First you need to know the finished quilts are about one foot square... yes only 12 inches total!  They are foundation pieced from the book Miniatures in Minutes by Terrie Sandelin.  Sure there are lots of little pieces, but they go together quickly and are so impressive!!!

The Quickest Quick Step

This is a fun fast quilt-as you go quilt.  Once you finish the piecing it is ready for binding!  It is reversible-- the above photos show the two sides of one quilt.

I have  been doing some contract work for a local quilt shop "A Needle Runs Through It."  It is a long arm quilting shop.  I have been working on tee-shirt quilts and other custom quilt projects.  Once they do work their magic with the long arm quilting machines these projects really become something to see!  Check out their  website  to find out more http://www.aneedlerunsthroughit.com/
